The 55-year-old sergeant in the Western Region yesterday received notice of the Court's future presence for the distribution of child pornography and possession of pedophile material.
The offenses allegedly occurred on Monday, December 17, 2018.
He is scheduled to appear in the Narrabri Local Court on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
The sergeant was suspended with pay.
