A Virginia Beach woman was arrested Wednesday after police said she put a device on a 7-Eleven counter, told the clerk it was a bomb and threatened to blow up the store.

Crystal Mostek, 33, walked into the convenience store in Virginia Beach and placed a device on the counter. She then reportedly told a store employee it was a bomb and threatened to blow up the store, the device was later determined not to be a bomb.

Mostek denied the charges against her during her Thursday arraignment, her attorney said in court that he is investigating his client's mental health status.

Mostek’s next court appearance is scheduled for June. She is being held at the jail without bond, according to jail records.
