A terrifying video was sent to parents and families of seven teens kidnapped by a Mexican cartel showing their last moments before they were mercilessly executed.
The cartel filmed the seven teens in black hoods over their faces and their hands tied behind their backs being led by a cartel member in a skull mask to their deaths.
The victims, aged between 14 and 18, were barefoot as they walked up a mountainside in Zacatecas, Central Mexico. All but one were killed, authorities said.
Local news outlets identified the teens as family members and friends. They were enjoying a weekend at a Malpaso area ranch when multiple vehicles loaded with gunmen stormed the property at 4 a.m. Sunday.
The teens were kidnapped and later found dead in a remote area. Sergio Yobani, the sole survivor of the carnage, was brutally beaten and remains unconscious at a hospital.
Mexican officials have initially denied the teens were kidnapped forcing the grieving parents to release the gruesome video sent by the cartel.
