Authorities in Ohio announced Tuesday that the search for an 8-year-old boy had come to an end after his body was located in a swimming pool.
Christopher Johnson was reportedly staying at the Strongsville Holiday Inn when he mysteriously vanished Monday at 2:46 p.m. He was left alone for 25 minutes before he was last seen and was wearing swim trunks.
Johnson’s family and some agencies conducted a desperate search of the area following the disappearance until his body was located in the hotel swimming pool Tuesday morning.
The bot was disabled, according to authorities but the nature of his disability wasn’t disclosed.
An investigation has been launched into the incident pending autopsy results.
