As people look for solutions to prevent getting infected by the novel coronavirus, Vitamin D has been considered the best dietary supplement to strengthen the immunity system amid the unprecedented pandemic.

However, the clinical trials concerning this Vitamin’s effectiveness in the battle with coronavirus is still to be proven: Though the Vitamin D is “essential for good health” and bones, there is at this point “no strong scientific evidence to show that very high intakes will be beneficial in preventing or treating COVID-19,” doctors warn.
