President Donald Trump is willing to donate the first quarter of his annual salary to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, according to Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

Trump will donate $100,000 of his $400,000 annual salary the way he did at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic last March when he donated his salary from the final quarter of 2019 to the same department to help fund the efforts to develop vaccines and treatments to the novel virus.

The president was wealthy when he was elected and had previously waived a salary that he donated to various instances. The announcement comes shortly after he ordered all worship “essential” and be opened over this weekend.
