An Atlanta Gas Light employee died earlier this week while responding to an incident at a southeast Georgia home, Wayne County authorities said.
21-year-old Brandon Butler was found unresponsive at the Jesup home after responding to a gas leak report on April 15.

Deputies and EMS rushed to the scene and transported Butler to a hospital where he passed away.
His cause of death is being determined while the investigation into the tragic incident continues.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Brandon’s family, friends, and his Atlanta Gas Light teammates,” a company spokesperson commented.
