As she sat on Marine One heading to Maryland with the President, Melania Trump was spotted wearing a face covering on Monday, just hours before her husband mocked Joe Biden for doing the same.
The First Lady and the President were flying to Maryland to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. Melania had no mask when she stepped out of the plane.
Hours earlier, Trump had retweeted a post depicting Biden wearing a face covering: “This might help explain why Trump doesn’t like to wear a mask in public. Biden today.”
Biden, unlike Trump, had attended the Delaware Memorial Bridge Veteran’s Memorial Park with his wife, Jill, as they both wore masks.
