Authorities in Las Vegas believe that a 27-year-old woman shot and killed a carpet cleaner inside his van in a “random” attack Tuesday.
Kayla Alery was arrested shortly after she shot and killed 41-year-old Raul Cardoza in his van at around 4 p.m.
Cardoza was visiting an apartment complex in west Las Vegas to provide an estimate to a resident when he was ambushed.

“This appears to be a random shooting,” said Lt. Jason Johannson.
