A Pennsylvania man was arrested this week after he allegedly used a chainsaw to attack and kill his neighbor, police said.
Zak Moyer, 30, broke into his neighbor Edward Whitehead Jr.’s home on Monday and “struck him multiple times with a knife and a battery-operated chainsaw.”
Surveillance footage showed the suspect in all-black clothing and a Scream movie mask entering the 59-year-old’s residence.
Moyer then fled to his next door’s home and barricaded himself inside as police surrounded the scene.
The suspect reportedly started communicating with officers with “notes” on his window, accusing Whitehead of several crimes.
Moyer’s sister said that her brother had mentioned slaughtering Whitehead about a week before the murder.
