Pilot arrested on suspicion of flying while drunk after he crashed a private plane in Nevada.

A man from Washington State was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of flying while drunk.

Ryan Raymond Dashiell, 41, was not seriously injured when the twin-engined Cessna 550 crashed at Mesquite Municipal Airport on Wednesday.

Police Sgt. Wyatt Oliver stated that Dashiell was the only person on board.

He was treated in a hospital and placed in prison pending his appearance in court.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the aircraft was traveling from Pasco, Washington, to Henderson Executive Airport, near Las Vegas, when it crashed.
