Boston news, Massachusetts news.

Suffolk County officers discovered the body of a male in his 30s at a South Boston area over the weekend. Meanwhile, his death was ruled as natural.

A statement from the Massachusetts State Police confirmed that the remains were found Sunday morning at about 10 a.m. as police were responding to an emergency call reporting "an unattended death" in a construction site at 450 Summer St.

The man's name was not publicly released because his death was not ruled as a homicide which was confirmed by recovered evidence, the Suffolk District attorney's office stated late night.

The investigation is ongoing by the Suffolk County Detective Unit to determine the circumstances of the incident that was described by State Police spokesman James DeAngelis as " apparent accidental death."
