Tucson news, Arizona news.

A 55-year-old grandmother was booked in jail after police found her 8-year-old twins grandsons dead in their bedrooms while she was lying in the floor "unresponsive" from drugs overdose, news outlets said.

The tragedy occurred Thursday inside the family's house in Tucson. Police found the autistic twins, identified as Jaden and Jorden Webb, dead from bullet wounds they sustained. They were able to revive the 55-year-old grandmother Dorothy Flood who confessed to opening fire at the toddlers before attempting to commit suicide.

The twins were in Flood's care after their mother's death in 2017.

Flood was formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

The boys were attending Laguna Elementary school and were described as lovely and kind kids.
