Gunman shoots 6 people after being kicked out of DC nightclub

Police in Washington D.C. said that at least six people were shot late Friday outside a Dupont Circle nightclub.

The shooting occurred at around 11:30 p.m. at Decades nightclub in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue NW, police said.

It appeared the shooting stemmed from a dispute involving a man who was just kicked out of the nightclub.

    All victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was taken into custody.

    “The scene is secure and there is no further threat to the community,” police said in an update.
