4 dead after the explosion of an Egyptian tourist bus near pyramids

On Friday, Attorney General Nabil Sadek announced that three Vietnamese tourists and an Egyptian guide have died while 11 people were injured, 10 Vietnamese tourists and the Egyptian bus driver, in a bombing of an Egyptian bus, in the Giza region, near Cairo, where the pyramids are located.

The authorities announced the cause, it was a bomb explosion at the bus crossing.

Vietnam's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh showed his deep sadness. He also remains with the victims of #TourBusAttack and their families, in close coordination with the Egyptian government.

Nobody claimed responsibility.

Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Ahmed Hafez described the incident as a terrorist attack. He tweeted: "We send our sincere condolences to the families of the victims in Vietnam and Egypt, and we continue to move towards a new year of determination to eradicate terrorism".
