A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting at a Dallas motel on Friday morning.
Officers responded just after 6:30 a.m. to the Royal Inn, in the 2000 block of West Northwest Highway, and found James Howard Jennings III, 32, lying in a second-floor hallway with multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined that Deanthony Andrew Frank, 25, and another person shot the victim at the Royal Inn in northwest Dallas.
It's unclear how the altercation between the men began.
Frank was arrested and charged with capital murder, while the other suspect remains at large.
