Car full of teenagers runs over officer who tried to stop them

After 1 a.m. on the morning of Feb. 15 in Billings, Montana, when police officers discovered a vehicle that had been escaping them multiple times previously in the evening.

A car full of teenagers sped and drove directly at police officers in what was an apparently deliberate attempt to hit them.

The vehicle escaped the scene after the driver struck the officer who endured serious wounds compelling surgery but blasted nearby.

Five of the car’s inmates were juvenile females between the ages of 13 and 16. The driver, a 14-year-old male, from Billings high school, was taken into custody and remanded into youth services. He was charged with attempted murder.
