U.S President Donald Trump will send Air Force One to Houston on Monday to carry former President George H.W. Bush's remains to Whashington, DC.
Bush's casket will leave Houston at 10:30 a.m. local time Monday, first of four days of events honoring the 41st president.
The casket's arrival is expected at 3:30 p.m. then the remains will be taken to the US Capitol Rotunda where it will lie in state until 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Capitol will be open to the public from 7:45 p.m. Monday to 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Trump has proclaimed Wednesday a national day of mourning. Bush will lie in repose beginning at 6:45 p.m. at St. Martin's Episcopal Church after being flown back to Houston.
