Reno news, Nevada news.

An elderly Nevada suspect was found guilty of first-degree murder in connection to the deadly attack of a 76-year-old man who has suffered more than 250 severe stab wounds.

The sentencing hearing of Ralph Goad who is currently facing life in prison without parole is scheduled for October 2.

After a week-long trial, Goad was convicted by the Washoe District Court jury of the horrifying murder of Theodore Gibson whose corpse was discovered in his Reno home in February 2019.

In addition to Gibsons' body, investigators found a blood-stained pair of scissors, a knife and the victim's empty wallet in the room where he was killed.

Camera footage has captured Goad in a casino almost one day after the crime.
