A Shreveport kidnapping suspect was arrested as he tried to jump from a motel balcony.
The suspect, Quanterious Anthony Johnson, 23-year-old, was apprehended just before 4 p.m. last Monday at a Super 6 Motel that is located in the 1600 block of North Watson Road in Arlington. He was wanted for an outstanding kidnapping charge related to a February incident when he threatened some residents who offered him a ride at gunpoint and robbed them before shooting one victim as was trying to flee.
Upon his arrest, Johnson was charged with aggravated kidnapping of two victims. Authorities were able to track him down with the help of residents' tips, according to the Shreveport Police Department.
