Baby sitter stabs mom over cash dispute

A 27-year-old baby sitter entered in a dispute over cash with the mother of two kids who she cared for and has stabbed her twice in the back.

According to reports, Miriam Paloma was booked into prison following the attack that unfolded in a Bronx apartment.

When the argument began, the suspect could be heard screaming: "I don't work for free."

The toddlers, a 4-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother witnessed the incident. Their mother was able to hid them and herself in the bedroom.

"I didn't know what to do, I told her to put the knife down. She wouldn't put the knife down," the mother told reporters.

Paloma faces several charges including assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
