A Florida man is behind bars after he allegedly admitted to killing his roommate who wouldn’t give him a $1 Friday morning.
Miami Police officers responding to reports of a fight found 36-year-old Brandon Carlos Grant lying on the ground outside his apartment complex. Grant reportedly had blood on his clothes.

His roommate was found “unresponsive on his knees leaning on a couch.” The man appeared to have blunt-force trauma injuries on his face and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Once in custody, Grant waived his Miranda rights and confessed to the crime. He allegedly said that he “became enraged” when the victim refused to give him the $1.
Grant faces second-degree murder charges.
