A Nevada toddler has died after he fell from an apartment window Thursday afternoon, Sparks Police said.
The 2-year-old was reportedly playing next to the open window at an upper-story apartment when he fell to his death at around 1:40 p.m.

Paramedics and officers found the mortally wounded child outside the building and started life-saving measures.
The victim died shortly after arriving at the hospital, police said.
An investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing but no charges are expected.
