A Bronx mother and her 14-year-old son were prounonced dead after they were reportedly stabbed, beaten and bludgeoned with a gym weights by a man who unfeelingly threw torn-up money on the 51-year-old mother's body before running away from the crime scene, report said.
The horrific crime took place at the victims' apartment which is located in East 185th Street.
Police discovered the bodies of Marisol Ortiz and her teenager son Alanche Del Orbe Sunday around 3:38 p.m.
According to authorities, the victims who were hit with a very heavy weight suffered several wounds including a stab injury in the woman's head.
It is believed that the teen who was expected to celebrate his 15 anniversary a day after the crime was attacked while sleeping.
