Alabama robbery suspect arrested after shooting 2 employers, stealing money

Authorities have arrested a man accused of shooting two workers before robbing a cell phone store Monday, police said.

The robbery occurred in the 200 block of Greensprings Avenue at on Monday afternoon.

Police responded to an emergency call from the business reporting a robbery incident.

News outlets said that the suspect allegedly broke into the store holding a firearm at two employees and ordered them to give him money.

The employees were shot as they tried to flee the area.

The theft who was later identified by authorities took some money from the cash register before running away by the back door of the store.

The two victims were rushed to the hospital. One of them sustained life-threatening wounds.
