Today, three people were attacked by two dogs in Tregear.
Emergency services were called in a house on Vincennes Avenue on Thursday, January 24, 2019, following reports of a dog attack.
Upon arrival, the police found a 40-year-old man with multiple bites and cardiac arrest.
He was treated by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in critical condition.
A 30-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter were also bitten by the dogs and were also taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.
The dogs have been secured.
Investigations are conducted by officers from the Mount Druitt Regional Police Command.
