A man charged as part of investigations into drug supply in the state’s south.

In July 2018, officers attached to the Wagga Wagga County Law Enforcement Team investigated drug supply in the Wagga Wagga and Young districts.

Following investigations on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at approximately 9:50 am, police set up a car park on Turvey Park on MacLeay Street and arrested a 26-year-old man before being transferred to the Wagga Wagga Police Station. .

Shortly after, the police executed a search warrant at a home on Mimosa Drive, Mount Austin.

During the inspection, officers seized a quantity of ammunition, and objects that were allegedly stolen, including a saw, credit cards and identity documents.

The 26-year-old man was charged with drug offenses and refused bail on a charge to appear in Wagga Wagga local court on Thursday, January 17, 2019.
