A former middle school principal gets probation for sex offense - New York City

Mark Trabucco, 42, a former school principal in upstate New York is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy. He was therefore sentenced to 10 years of probation.

Trabucco was the former director of the Adirondack Central School District in Boonville, Oneida County. The boy was not a student of this school.

Syracuse.com says Clay's Mark Trabucco, who was sentenced on Thursday, will be on the sex offender registry for 20 years.

Police said he contacted the teenager through a small ad on Craigslist in April 2017.

Prosecutors say the two messages exchanged in which the boy claimed to be 18 years old.

The adolescent reported sexual acts to a family member.
