The St. George Police Department released more details about the Monday afternoon arrest of a man who was caught traveling with nearly $4 million worth of illicit drugs in his car.
30-year-old Logan Lewis Pederson was all-smiles in his mugshot but Arizona officers said that he appeared "extremely nervous" as they pulled him over on Interstate 15 near the Utah border amid a traffic stop.
With the assistance of a K9 unit, deputies discovered a valuable amount of various narcotics inside the white sedan: Six 1-gallon jugs of a liquid positive for meth, Six bricks of cocaine, 1,000 packages of candy infused with THC, and 2.2 pounds of MDMA. The exact value of the seizure was estimated at $3,696,720.
Pederson is facing multiple charges and is being held at the Mohave County Detention Center.
