Police looking for suspect who shot dead 2-year-old girl and injured her father

Louisiana police are asking for the public's help to find a 19-year-old man in connection to the Shreveport shooting that killed a 2-year-old girl and left her father with serious injuries.

According to police Cpl. Marcus Hines, the victims were identified as Roderick Robinson, 22, and his daughter, Kynsley. The toddler was hit in the head and was pronounced dead at Ochsner LSU Health while his dad was shot in the lower leg.

Authorities are currently searching for Ta'Darious Upshaw who is facing aggravated assault with a firearm charge following the shooting that unfolded last Friday evening.
