An Arizona mother of four has been taken into custody and is facing child abuse charges after she left her baby unattended at a Chandler Target parking lot for more than 18 minutes and went to do shopping.
Court documents revealed that the incident unfolded Tuesday at around 4 p.m. Police received an emergency call from a man reporting a baby who was left alone in a vehicle adding that he was sweating and crying unstoppably.
After being advised to break the passenger back side window, the caller succeeded to grab the infant without being hurt.
Authorities arrested Holli Broadbent Platt shortly after she left her three other kids inside the store when her name was announced by Target management.
