Massachusetts authorities are investigating the mysterious death of a 13-year-old teen who was dropped off at a local hospital by an unidentified man.
Chloe Ricard passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital shortly she was dropped off by a 47-year-old man. An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday to determine the teen's cause of death but the results were not revealed. "Under the circumstances, it doesn't appear to be a homicide, but we can't say one way or another until we have a ruling," said DA spokesperson Jonathan Blodgett.
The girl's mother said she took her to a friend's home on Sunday and hasn't since heard from her. She learned about her death when she reported her missing: "She was just a beautiful, kind girl," the mother said. "Everyone that met her loved her, she was so social."
