According to New Orleans authorities, a possibly stolen vehicle had crashed into a beauty salon leaving three dead and sparking fire on both the car and the building.
The huge fire began on Wednesday night when police patrols spotted a reportedly stolen car and pursued it until it crashed into the building.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Washington Avenue and South White Street.
Three people are believed to have died during the incident: A woman who was pulled from the fire and two individuals who were inside the stolen vehicle.
Firefighters were able to rescue a woman and two kids from the burning building. They were taken to a nearby hospital and remain in stable condition.
