Child found alone in heavy traffic area while brothers stayed unattended at home

According to police, a Monroe mother was arrested after one of her young children was found alone in the street Wednesday afternoon.

25-year-old Angel Renea Scott was formally charged with misdemeanor child desertion, reports said.

A Witness said that she noticed an unattended kid walking alone in the center of the road heading west. It was described as very dangerous area as it often has heavy traffic. She believed that the toddler was lost and had not known where to go. She then approached to him and called 911.

Authorities later identified the boy's mother and as they arrived to the family home, they found the kid's five brothers aged 1 and 6-year-old been assisted by a neighbor who even doesn't recognize their names.
