Media sources said that a Louisiana mother was arrested in connection to the death of her infant who she breastfed while was intoxicated.
At an announcement, Kenner police said that 35-year-old Brandi Froeba was apprehended on March 8 and faces second-degree murder after she reportedly killed her baby, six-week-old, who was found dead inside the family's house in the summer of 2018.
The investigation in the case started after Froeba made an emergency call reporting the death of the child Daisy Marie who was found unresponsive and not breathing.
Daisy was transferred to the hospital where she died shortly afterwards.
The mother's arrest happened as she seemed lethargic and began slurring words.
Autopsy results revealed that the amount of the methamphetamine was high in Freoba's blood.
