Oklahoma boy, 3, drowns in pond after wandering away from home to nearby country club

An Oklahoma toddler died one day after he fell into a pond at a country club near his home, police said Wednesday.

The 3-year-old boy was found “fully submerged” in the pond at Hillcrest Country Club shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday.

    First responders rushed the toddler to the hospital where he was initially listed in “a very difficult situation” with “a lot to overcome.”

    In a grim update on Wednesday, Police announced the boy’s death identifying him as Liam Rowland.
