Authorities in Birmingham, Alabama are looking for the suspected gunman who shot and killed a UPS worker in a targeted attack Tuesday evening.
UPS driver Anthony Lamar Love Jr. was gunned down at around 6:05 p.m. as he walked to his car after finishing his shift, Birmingham Police Sgt. Laquitta Wade said.
The victim was shot multiple times outside the Birmingham UPS facility, Wade said adding that about a dozen shots were fired.
No arrests were made in connection to the deadly shooting.
“We are saddened by the loss of our driver and extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and coworkers,” a UPS spokesperson said.
“We are cooperating with the authorities as they continue investigating this tragic incident.”
