Suspect wanted for double murder in Pennsylvania takes own life in W. Virginia after police chase

A double murder suspect wanted in Pennsylvania ended his life after a police chase in West Virginia, authorities said Monday morning.

Deputies in Kanawha County located the suspect’s black Acura traveling along Interstate 79 at around 7 a.m. and shut down the highway.

  • 50-year-old Dennis Rahuba’s vehicle was surrounded by deputies who instructed him to come out and surrender but instead, he shot himself dead.

    Rahuba was wanted for an overnight double shooting of a man and woman in Allegheny County.

    Authorities said the murders were “domestic in nature” without elaborating on the suspect and victims’ relationship.
