Wife convicted of killing husband, dismembering body sentenced

Ohio authorities announced that the wife accused of killing her husband and then dismembering his body has received a 20-years jail sentence.

Before pleading guilty, Marcia Eubank, 50, was charged with murder, gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

The sentence decision was prounonced Friday in an Ohio courtroom, reports said.

The defense lawyer stated that Eubank was a victim of her husband's physical and mental abuse.

According to prosecutors, the killing happened after a domestic argument at the couple's home. Eubank allegedly used power and hand tools to dismember Howard Eubank's body and moved his corpse to a nearly storage containers in June 2017.
