Police seek public assistance following a suspicious fire in west Sydney.
today, around 1:30 am, emergency services were called in a house on Zarley Street in Fairfield, where a house was found.
A 56-year-old woman came out of the house with the help of neighbors.
The fire was extinguished, but the house and the car were badly damaged.
Officers from the Fairfield City Police District Command went to the scene and set up a crime scene.
The woman was taken to Fairfield Hospital after having difficulty breathing but was released.
Fires are considered suspicious and investigators encourage anyone with information to progress.
