Court landed 5 felony counts on Kelsey Berreth’s fiancé after he was charged with the murder.

The fiancé of missing Colorado mother Kelsey Berreth was arrested and booked on murder charges in connection with her death, he was charged with five felony counts on Monday morning by Teller County prosecutors.

Frazee, 32, was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree felony murder and three counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder.

The charges indicate that authorities believe Frazee conspired with at least one other person to kill Berreth. The multiple solicitation charges suggest he engaged someone or multiple people to kill Berreth on three occasions.

Woodland Park police Chief Miles De Young has said investigators recovered enough evidence at Berreth’s home to convince them that is where she was killed.

Berreth was last seen on Thanksgiving in a supermarket. That day Frazee said he and Berreth exchanged custody of their 1-year-old daughter, Kaylee. Police said they believe Berreth was killed after the custody exchange in her home.

Three days after her disappearance, her cell phone pinged 600 miles away in Idaho and her boss got a text from her cell phone saying she was taking off that week. Her mother reported her missing Dec. 2.

Berreth’s parents have custody of the couple’s one-year-old daughter Kaylee. Another custody hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

authorities launched a searching squad in Frazee’s 35-acre ranch in Crystal Peaks Ranches subdivision near Florissant but never recovered the body and an announcement about a shred of evidence has not been made yet.
