A 22-year-old man died and hospitalized two people after taking an unknown substance at a Western music festival in Gosford on Saturday. The investigation continues
The man from Queensland, was taken to the hospital, but died soon after.
Two other people, a man and a woman, are still in the hospital, where they are treated after taking an unknown substance and then getting sick. They are for the moment in a stable state.
A total of 184 people and 97 vehicles were searched during the dog drug operation, and 50 people received a notice of presence for possession of drugs in the field. Seven cannabis warnings were issued.
So far, three people have been charged with drug offenses.
