The Fayetteville Police Department said Thursday that DNA recovered from the crime scene of a woman's violence in a North Carolina park at the end of 2017, is linked to Wilbur D. McGill, an elderly 54 year old. The authorities then arrested the criminal and then sent to Orange Country.
The Herald-Sun reports that the victim was in a park with his one-year-old child when the man attacked and raped her before stealing her car.
McGill is currently being held in Orange County, Florida, until the authorities are able to return him to North Carolina, where he faces charges of first-degree rape and armed robbery.
