Two juveniles have been arrested for a shooting outside a Tuscaloosa grocery store.

Two people were taken into custody after a shooting outside a Tuscaloosa grocery store.

Tuscaloosa Police and members of the Violent Crimes Unit responded to Bear Creek Road around 3:05 p.m. on a shooting call in the parking lot of Vowels.

The victim identified as a 22-year-old male was shot in the leg while he was trying to buy a gun from one of the suspects when an argument began and the victim was shot. He was taken to DCH Tuscaloosa his injury still does not appear to be life-threatening.

One juvenile is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending a $30,000 bond. A second juvenile is being placed in Juvenile Detention for violation of a conditional release. The third suspect was released without any charges.
