Elijah Smart, 29, and Markis White, 19, were arrested and charged with burglary on Friday after breaking into a California flat. It was Robby Spillman, the owner, who told NBC Los Angeles that the men were able to enter his terrace and enter from behind. Robby also said that the two men treat the house as if it were theirs.
The homeless smelled very bad, they asked for food, and then Robby had pretended to walk his dog while she called the police.
Robby said that he and his girlfriend will have a baby in a few weeks, which led him to wonder if they should stay in the area after the incident.
