The 8-year-old girl who was shot by her Us Coast Guard father earlier this month died on Christmas Day to be the fourth victim of the murder-suicide sparked by a domestic dispute.
McKenna Presnar was declared dead early Tuesday after she sustained serious injuries during the Dec. 16 murder-suicide shooting perpetrated by her father, Petty Officer First Class John Stanley Presnar, 44 who also shot dead his wife, Gretchen Presnar, 39, and their 7-year-old son, John Jr. before committing suicide.
McKenna Presnar was the only survivor of the shooting and was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.
According to police, It was Presnar's mother-in-law who reported the violent events in her daughter's home after witnessing the couple's argument.
