A man was fatally shot at Westar gas station on Broward Boulevard on Tuesday.
the shooting took place just before 5:30 p.m. Christmas Day, in the 700 block of Broward Boulevard.
Fort Lauderdale police Detective Tracy Figone said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he died later.
investigators gathered evidence outside the gas station's front door for more than six hours.
Detectives spotted several shell casings not far from the victim’s SUV. Inside, authorities dusted for fingerprints and marked bullet holes to the front bumper while detectives questioned witnesses.
the identity of the victim hasn't been released yet, Police are still searching for the shooter.
