A Chicago man has been accused of throwing two small dogs off his second-floor balcony during an argument with his wife Monday morning.
According to police the violent crime happened after a fight between the couple during which the husband slapped his wife 55 year-old twice. He allegedly try to kill the dogs by grabbing them and tossing them off the balcony. Several criminal charges are pending against him.
A 17 year-old dog Chihuahua was killed in the incident, the other fleeing away and hadn't been found since Tuesday.
Authorities said the husband was under police arrest despite the fact that he has not been charged and his name has not been released by police immediately.
