After Jakelin Caal death another migrant child died in U.S. custody.

A migrant boy being held by US officials at a border facility in New Mexico died in the early hours of Christmas morning.

the 8-years-old Guatemalan boy whose identity still unknown accompanied his father to the Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center on Monday night after getting sick.

the boy was diagnosed with a cold, He was back at the hospital soon after due to nausea and vomiting and a few hours later was pronounced dead.

he is the second migrant child to lose his life while being detained by authorities this month as the community's still morning the death of 7-years-old Jakelin Caal, who lost her life as well earlier this month while in custody.

The cause of the child’s death is not known. An investigation into CBP actions will be conducted.
