The Florida gun control advocate and school shooting survivor David Hogg claimed on Saturday that he has won a place at Harvard University.

The acceptance of the young man who plans to be major in political science has been announced through a Twitter Post. The fatally attack took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida during which 17 people were killed. Luckily, Hogg survived the shooting with some friends from the school, he since became a political leader.

When he was asked early this month if he can attend College in the upcoming year he expressed that he did not "feel comfortable going to College until we have at least $50m to fund gun violence research annually."
